Heiner Klarmann is our Senior Auto Electrician and Automotive Mechatronics Engineer. He started to work in the automotive industry at the age of 16 when he did his Automotive Electrical Technology Trade Certificate with Mercedes Benz in Germany. Subsequently to his trade he visited the Bochum University of Applied Sciences and became a Mechatronics Engineer for Automotive Systems. In the following years he worked in the research departments of VW in Germany and Siemens VDO in Singapore. After relocating to Australia in 2010, Heiner worked for Caterpillar and has experience with all aspects of electrical machinery rebuilds, fault finding and servicing. Furthermore he worked for Wirtgen Australia and became a specialist for HAMM, Wirtgen and Vögele machines.
Heiner is also a part of EGON where, together with award-winning 4WD author and overland explorer Andrew St Pierre White, Heiner developes and manufactures Auto Electric Parts dedicated to solving problems in cars, RVs, 4WDs.
